00:00 – Welcome to this overview on how to add a customs declaration to a GMR. If you have received an MRN in your simplified frontier declaration notification email, select Customs Declaration, then click Continue. On the next screen, you’ll be asked to enter a customs declaration reference number. Enter the simplified frontier declaration movement reference number provided to you by the Trader Support Service in your simplified frontier declaration notification email. It is an 18-character reference beginning with 21GB for 2021. It will be the first number you see in the top of the email. Once added, select Continue. Next, you’ll be asked to enter an entry summary safety and security declaration. Enter the associated ENS movement reference number for the consignment, which you receive in your Trader Support Service ENS notification email. The correct MRN will always be an 18-character reference starting with 21XI for 2021. Please do not use the other TSS numbers such as ones starting with DEC, ENS, or SFD as these will not work. Selecting Continue will take you back to the page where you can add another declaration to the same vehicle movement. Click on Add Another Declaration to add a new declaration to this GMR. Once all declarations have been added, please refer to the video on how to finalise the GMR before goods movement.
